yt-dlp 2026.08.19 Windows x64 — corresponding source materials
Prepared 2026-10-28. These materials accompany the original official Windows
yt-dlp.exe (SHA-256 66674953fe251b89f4d08c5f0e35e0728679bd67ab3d7d05c0562af101dd3e7a).

Contents and build route
python_sources/: exact yt-dlp/CPython3.10.11/package source artifacts selected
from the original Windows release requirements, with original copyright texts.
The two additional pure-Python wheels contain readable .py source, not native
code; their original package contents and additional upstream notices are kept.
cli_sources/: original release workflow, requirements locks, PyInstaller build
recipe/bootloader sources, curl-cffi/curl-impersonate sources and exact native
dependency archives, CPython Windows external source trees and SQLite's full
preferred source. Read cli_sources/CLI_NATIVE_BUILD_NOTES.txt and the included
upstream build.yml, pyinstaller.py, PCbuild/get_externals and win/build.bat.
ejs_sources/: yt-dlp-ejs0.8.0's original lock, preferred source of astring1.9.0 and
meriyah6.1.4, plus original notices. yt_dlp_ejs-0.8.0.tar.gz under python_sources
contains its preferred TypeScript sources. Read EJS-SOURCE-README.txt.
notices/: actual original CLI third-party notice and native/source notices.
source-manifest.json: delivered file hashes, permanent source origins and
original report hashes where only workstation paths were normalized.

Use the included original release workflow and locks in a matching Windows x64
toolchain. Unpack source archives first and seed dependency-download locations
with these exact artifacts when building offline. Standard unmodified build
tools/system components are obtained normally according to the original recipes.
Review upstream scripts before execution. No rebuild was executed and this
package makes no byte-for-byte reproducibility claim. Audit-only binary wheels
and the extracted native DLL were omitted; source/recipe/hash evidence remains.
FFmpeg is a separate program with its own separately included source ZIP.

Rights and versions
The standalone Windows CLI is distributed under GPLv3-or-later with its actual
third-party notices. Individual source files/components retain their own licenses.
The yt-dlp Python core's Unlicense alone does not describe the combined Windows
executable. Source access/use and upstream license rights require no app key,
subscription renewal, password or added charge. App subscription restrictions do
not restrict copying, modifying or redistributing these components under their
respective licenses. Original notices and obligations must be retained.
This package covers the originally bundled 2026.08.19 CLI only. A user's direct
upstream engine update is a different version; redistribution requires refreshed
matching source, licenses, build provenance and hashes for that exact version.
